We often need to extract text from images or scanned PDF files where you can’t simply select the text and copy it to Clipboard easily. Having to type out everything is definitely not an option today as there are many apps that offer OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Let’s check out a prime example!

Easy Screen OCR is a Windows app for image-to-text conversions. It’s available for a free trial of 20 uses and, after that, you will have to subscribe to a plan. After you open it, you only get a notification and the app’s icon is available in the system tray. This can be quite confusing for first-time users.
